Spike Says: Dog Maturity At 1 Year

Many people use the “Seven Year Rule” to equate their dog’s age to human age.  This is a good way to gauge the general age range of a dog.  For puppies, you can can equate a calendar year to fifteen years of maturity.  A dog matures significantly faster at the beginning of his life and the maturity rate slows down as he ages.
